Although I sell homes all over Middle Tennessee, I LOVE SYLVAN PARK and Nashville’s West Side!! While living and owning in Sylvan Park for over 16 years, I sat as Vice President and Steering Committee Member of the Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA), chaired the Sylvan Park Home Tours, was Editor of the Sylvan Park Newsletter, co-chaired the annual NOAC (Night Out Against Crime), co-chaired the Releaf Nashville effort after the 1998 Tornado, and made this trendy neighborhood my home base. It was such a treat when my neighbors would stop by and knock on my front door because they wanted to see the progress of my home renovations. I loved it when I was out jogging and my neighbors would call out and beg me to come in and see their new kitchen renovation or paint color. It was always a joy to see our local Sheriff or Councilperson at the local pub and we would discuss all things Nashville!
I have also lived in the fine West Side areas of West Meade and Bellevue during my real estate career, and have seen tremendous growth in these areas over the years. While West Meade is alive with gorgeous ranch-style renovations and many contemporary new builds on gorgeous acre+ lots, Bellevue has seen the redevelopment of the old mall (now One Bellevue Place), with a cornucopia of restaurants and businesses rounding out the West Side of Davidson County.
How did I get into real estate as a career? As a child, the first time I remember freshly cut wood was while playing in the sawdust at the original Gibson Guitar plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where my dad made guitars early in his career. The second time was when my dad was building our house. While my brothers were out playing, I would love to sit there and watch him cut the lumber. The smells and sounds made my heart sing!
I carried the love of building things into my business career. I built my career on my love of the legal arena, management of people and processes, as well as the creative aspect of sales. Having worked for Los Angeles and Nashville stellar law firms of Latham+Watkins and Bass Berry+Sims, respectively, as a Contracting Consultant for CIGNA Healthcare, with Michigan’s Consumers Energy, as well as in retail management early on in my career, I developed skills that allowed me to excel in running my own real estate business and advocating as a creative and shrewd negotiator for my clients.
As a result of selling real estate all over Nashville and Middle Tennessee since 1997, I am an expert on Greater Nashville real estate, with an emphasis on the West Side of town. My career started at Village Real Estate under the mentorship of Nashville’s urban pioneer, Mark Deutschmann. It was my experience at Village where I learned to become a “Realtor’s Realtor.” I previously sat on the Tennessee Foreign Language Institute Board of Directors as Vice President, realizing the need for Nashville’s citizens to broaden their horizons by learning languages of other countries—languages that would depict Nashville’s diversity over the ensuing years.

No matter if you’re buying or selling, I employ the right people and systems to help manage your real estate transactions. For two first-time homebuyers, Kim was outstanding! She helped us find the perfect home—she was a Godsend. She walked us through every step of the process while practically holding our hands. Not only is she a great Realtor, but she is a great person and fun to be with. She won #2 Realtor of the Year in Nashville Scene without even knowing she had been nominated. We would highly recommend Kim to friends, family, perfect strangers, and anyone seeking to buy a home. She is the best!
We went through a complicated commercial deal that took several months and a lot of negotiations back and forth. Kim was amazing; anyone else would have cracked or shown frustration, but she was positive, helpful and truly professional throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Kim and will use her again.
Kim helped me and my wife buy our first home together, and she had previously helped my wife buy her first condo near the new Sounds Ball Field (not a popular area at the time). We can confidently say that we wouldn’t have either property now if we hadn’t had Kim on our side. She guided us through this crazy-hot Nashville market with wisdom and passion, and we sure had a lot of fun in the process! She is upfront and truthful when it comes to selecting the right house, and I loved how she encouraged us to look at houses we may not have looked at otherwise. We had prepared ourselves that we’d probably be searching for 6+ months, given the hot market, but less than 2 months later, we had an offer accepted on our new home, and THAT is when she really kicked it into high gear and showed us how incredibly valuable she is. After the inspection, when there were several items that need to be repaired, she was a master in helping us negotiate. She fought hard on our behalf to make sure that all of the issues were rectified and that we were getting the best deal possible. What else can we say? We love Kim!
Kim did such a great job for us when we were in the market for a new home. She helped us navigate a very competitive market and helped us not only sell our present home, but also landed us the house of our dreams! It’s been 3 years now and we are still in love with our new construction home! Thanks so much, Kim!
Selling my custom-built home in Bellevue was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I was so attached, but It was time to downsize. You had the blueprint to price and promote, and within weeks the right buyer came along with a competitive offer. Along with plenty of hand-holding, your professionalism, care, guidance, and expertise helped me through one of life’s most emotional decisions. You were there every step of the way, and I’m so thankful.
Kimberly Davis is the perfect combination of all of the skills and experience that make a great real estate professional. She is friendly, intuitive, very organized, and an excellent negotiator. Kim also has a servant’s heart. She has helped me in six (6) different transactions, and in each case she has helped me find exactly the right home for my life at that moment, plus facilitated the sale of my previous home quickly and with comforting guidance all along the way. Kim’s experience in the Nashville area is vast, and that has been so helpful each time. Selling and buying a home can be stressful, but Kim takes that stress away. I have absolute trust in Kim as a professional, and also as a friend.
